Binks has announced that it is discontinuing its Fast Set application equipment — the IS30, IS40, and ST1 product families — and exiting the foam contractor equipment business entirely in November 2026. This decision, made as part of a broader review of its product portfolio, affects every dealer and contractor who relies on this equipment, including our customers here at Christian Fabrication.
We know this kind of announcement raises questions, so here's what we currently know about the transition.
What's changing
Binks will no longer manufacture or sell new IS30, IS40, or ST1 equipment after November 2026. This is a full exit from the foam contractor equipment line, not a temporary pause.
Order deadline
Binks is accepting final orders for new ST1 spray guns through November 30, 2026. If you've been considering a purchase or need a gun for an upcoming job, don't wait too long to place that order. Intellispray machines are also available until this date.
Your warranty is protected
Any outstanding warranty on your existing IS30, IS40, or ST1 equipment will be honored in full for its original term. This discontinuation does not change the coverage you already have.
Spare parts availability
Binks has committed to keeping spare parts available through the end of 2028, so you'll have time to keep your current equipment running and to plan your next steps.
What this means for you
If you own or operate IS30 or ST1 equipment purchased through Christian Fabrication, nothing changes for you today. Your equipment keeps working, your warranty stands, and parts will remain available for the next several years.
