Product Description
The North Safety 7580P100 P100 Particulate Filter is designed for use with compatible North full-face and half-mask respirators. These magenta P100 filters provide high-efficiency protection against airborne particulates such as dust, mist, fumes, fibers, mold, lead, asbestos, and other non-oil and oil-based particulate hazards.
Each filter offers 99.97% minimum filtration efficiency and is NIOSH approved for particulate protection. The threaded connection makes these filters compatible with select North respirator facepieces, including the 5500, 7700, 5400, 7600, RU6500, RU8500, and RU8800 Series respirators.
These filters are commonly used in manufacturing, chemical handling, cleanup work, maintenance, demolition, mold remediation, and lead or asbestos abatement applications.
Important Notice for Spray Foam Contractors:
These are particulate-only filters. They are not approved for spray foam application and will not protect against organic vapors, isocyanates, chemical gases, or oxygen-deficient environments. Spray foam contractors applying polyurethane foam should use the appropriate respirator cartridges or supplied-air respiratory protection required for the chemicals being sprayed.

Replacement Guidance
Filters should be replaced when breathing becomes difficult, airflow feels restricted, or the filters become damaged, dirty, or contaminated. These filters do not have an end-of-service-life indicator because they are particulate filters, not vapor cartridges.
